A bitter anniversary

Today is March 3rd, the one year anniversary of the murder of 4 young officers of the Mayerthorpe and Whitecourt detachments of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, near Rochfort Bridge, Alberta. Please take a moment today to pause and remember these men, who gave their lives in the service of all Canadians so that we can enjoy a peaceful and safe society. Please leave your porch lights on tonight as a symbol of remeberance, as well, please call or EMail your MP and ask for their support for judicial reform, so that habitual and career criminals are kept where they belong, in jail.

In eternal gratitude:
Cst. Brock MYROL
Cst. Anthony GORDON
Cst. Lionide (Leo) JOHNSON
Cst. Peter SCHIIMANN
03 March 2005

They shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning;
We will remember them.
